Below you will find cocktail recipes that Hilltop Bottle Shop has featured. We post a new drink each month for you to try by using one of our great products.
There is a variety of cocktails for any palette. If you like sweet, salty or something else, you’ll be able to find a drink for you! We pride ourselves on having a huge variety of brands in our store. If you like bourbon, try a whisky sour. You may be more of a margarita fan, so be sure to get some of our best tequila mixed with some lime! We have a wide variety of products and some of the mix-ins that you will need for these cocktails. If we don’t have it though, stop next door at S&S Supermarket for the last minute additions to your cocktails.
We search high and low for the best cocktails we can find to share with our loyal customers. If you have tried one of the recipes, be sure to let us know what you thought. Don’t forget to share the recipes with your friends, too! Most of the recipes are mocktail friendly as well, for kids and non-drinking friends.
*Cucumber-basil-infused vodka: In a vacuum-sealable bag, add 1 liter of vodka, 1/3 of a cucumber (sliced), 10 basil leaves, 5 Fresno peppers (or sweet peppers if you don’t want the heat) and 2 thyme sprigs. Seal the bag and place it into a sous vide bath for 2 hours at 130 degrees Fahrenheit. Let cool, then strain the solids.
**Basil syrup: In a second vacuum-sealable bag, add 2 cups white granulated sugar and 2 cups very hot water. Shake to dissolve the sugar, then add 25 basil leaves. Seal the bag and place it into the same sous vide bath as the vodka, for 2 hours at 130 degrees Fahrenheit. Let cool, then strain the solids. Add an additional 15 basil leaves, chill for about 2 hours in the refrigerator, then strain the solids.
3 cups tomato/vegetable juice
3 ounces freshly squeezed lime juice (about 4 limes)
1½ ounces freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 1-2 lemons)
½ tsp. prepared horseradish
2 tsp. hot sauce
4 tbsp. Half-Sour Pickle Brine
1 cup chopped peeled cucumber (run through food processor)
4 tsp. coarsely ground pepper
2 tbsp. kosher salt
